Michael “Mike “ Burress, born to the late Earl and Annie Burress, on June 19, 1951, passed away January 26, 2026. Mike was a graduate of Woodward High School and was known for his intelligence and kind nature. A devoted brother, uncle, and friend, he brought calm, warmth and reliability to everyone around him. Mike enjoyed fishing, watching football, music, horseshoes and visiting the racetrack. He retired from Keebler Baking Co. after 37 years of service.

His legacy lives on in the memories shared and the lives he touched.  A private memorial service will be held on February 7, 2026 at 1:00 pm.
