Mia Morris was born on August 3rd, 1978, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Debra Morris and Larry Redd. She departed this life on February 24, 2026, at UC West Chester Hospital. Mia had two children, Markel Diego Donyah Collins and Mauriah Shakur Smith.

She is survived by a wealth of family and friends, including her daughter, Mauriah Smith; mother, Debra Morris; grandmother, Johnnie Mae Allen; sisters, Keniya, JoAnna, Jamie, Toni, and Venus; and brothers, Michael, James, Lonzell (brother-in-law), and Stoney, Sr. (brother-in-law). She also leaves behind aunts, Doris and Marie; uncles, Robert and Maurice; nieces, Brittani, Paige, Samone, Stacey, Heaven, and Alexus; nephews, Stacy, Keitonio, Stoney, Jr., Shareef, Keonte, Aiden, and Jaylen; cousins, Shon, Ayesha, Tam, Avan, Asher, Yolanda, Mya, Quita, Queda, Star, Cory, Angela (Beanie), Kizzy, Tosha and Tashay; great-nieces, Kameire, Jordynne, Tyliah, Layla, Journie, Zahari, Destiny, and Ryver; great-nephews, King, Kyng, Koda, Chase, Kai'lyn, and Logan, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mia touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness and unwavering spirit. She will be remembered for her generosity, her laughter, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Mia's legacy of compassion will continue to inspire those who knew her, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved her.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
