Merle M. Mullins, age 89, of Burlington, KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky.   He was born  February 25, 1930, in Livingston, Kentucky.

He was a member of the First Church of Christ.

He enjoyed UK Basketball, Cincinnati Bengals, CIncinnati Reds and Nascar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Lucy Holt Mullins and  his sister, Kathleen Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife, Ernestine "Tina"; sons, Robert (Connie) and Rodney (Julie); daughter, Kristy (Matt) Loschiavo; two stepchildren, Tracy (Keith) Remley and Jeff Holton, eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Nehemiah 8:10   Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Isaiah 40:31     But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at the South Side Baptist, 15 and Holman, Covington, Kentucky 41011.  The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Burlington Cemetery, 4715 Burlington Pike, Burlington, Kentucky 41005.
