With heavy hearts and profound love, we celebrate the life of Meneshia Lynn Harris, affectionately known as "Tweety," who transitioned peacefully at her home on May 18, 2026, at the age of 38.

Born on December 7, 1987, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Meneshia lived a life defined by compassion, strength, sacrifice, and unwavering love. She was a proud graduate of Beckfield College of Nursing and dedicated more than twenty years of her life to serving others as a nurse assistant throughout the Tri-State area. Patients, families, and coworkers alike came to love, respect, and appreciate not only her professionalism and patience, but also her beautiful spirit and caring personality.

A poem that beautifully reflects Meneshia's life reads:

"A great soul serves everyone all the time.

A great soul never dies.

It brings us together again and again."

These words embody who Meneshia was. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, friend and a servant-hearted woman whose kindness reached far beyond her immediate family. Whether she was caring for patients, helping a friend in need, or simply offering words of encouragement, she gave of herself freely and wholeheartedly.

Above all else, Meneshia was a devoted mother. Her five beautiful children were the center of her world and the driving force behind everything she did. She worked tirelessly, because she wanted to provide them with every opportunity life could offer. As a devoted mother, she carried tremendous responsibilities with determination, grace, and relentless dedication. Nothing—and we mean nothing—stood in the way of her love for her children, mother, family and her career. She stood firmly on business when it came to caring for those she loved.

Meneshia was also deeply devoted to her family and friends. She wore her heart on her sleeve and loved with her whole heart. If Meneshia loved you, you knew it—not merely through words, but through her actions, her presence, and the way she consistently showed up when it mattered most. And if she was frustrated, you knew that too; she was genuine, honest, and unapologetically herself.

Meneshia also had a deep passion for cooking and bringing people together through food. Some of the most cherished memories shared by family and friends were made around her table. She found great joy in preparing meals for those she loved and took pride in making sure no one left her home hungry. Her house was a place of comfort, laughter, and togetherness, where everyone felt welcomed and cared for. She also had a special love for feeding not only her own children, but everybody's children. She opened both her heart and her home to all, creating a space where family, friends, and neighbors could gather, feel loved, and experience the warmth of her generous spirit.

She possessed a radiant spirit that could light up any room. Her smile, laughter, and energy brought warmth, comfort, and positivity to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Meneshia's presence was a gift, and her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled.

Though her earthly journey has ended, her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the family she cherished. Meneshia leaves behind her greatest accomplishment and deepest joy—her five beautiful children, who will carry forward her strength, compassion, resilience, and love for generations to come. Lovingly united with her Grandparents, Charles Williams, Linda Harris, Georgia and Aldo Smith, in eternal rest.

She leaves behind her loving parents Mother, Necole Harris, Father, Donald "Donnie" Smith, Step Mother Leticia Smith, children, Anthony, Devin, Tariq, ShaRiff and BaKahri, siblings Adnila, Eric, Dontez and Kayla and many, many cousins (Harris and Smith) along with countless family, extended family, step children, coworkers, and loved ones who will forever treasure her memory.
