Melinda Faye Hudson was born on January 11, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Joann Hudson and Stanley Urshery. She is the eldest of seven children: Toni, Amy, Robert, Princella, Rufus, and Renee. Being a native of Cincinnati, Melinda attended Vine Street Elementary School and graduated from Robert A. Taft High School. Melinda very much enjoyed spending time with her aunt, Faye Carter, and other friends and family. Melinda had a larger than life personality and lived everyday to the fullest with exercising, raising her daughter Delisa, eldest son Parnell, youngest son Marcellis (who preceded her in death), and as well as being a wife to Larry Worthen (who preceded her in death). With being a family woman, she would never forget to read her scriptures daily and give all praises to God. Melinda leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Parnell; her daughter: Delisa; her sisters: Toni, Amy, Princella, and Renee; her brothers: Robert and Rufus; her aunts: Faye Carter aka Sally and Othello; and a host of aunts, cousins, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other close relatives. Visitation is from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, on Friday, January 26, 2018, at the Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3660 Washington Avenue, Cincinnati (45229).
