Maxine Powell, born October21, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to James D. and Laura B. Morris passed on August 17, 2025,

Maxine graduated from Taft High School, shortly after, she was employed by Cincinnati Bell where she worked until she retired.

Maxine enjoyed playing cards on the weekends with her close friends Donna and Carol. She also enjoyed traveling and bowling. She was a thoughtful person with a good heart,

Maxine leaves behind her siblings: Carrie, James, Sarah, and Debbie. Along with several nieces and nephews: Chris, Melinda, Luthus, Shelly, Liz, Candace, Kenyatta, and Jenelle.

Her sibling Beverly, preceded her in death.

The family would like to thank everyone that was in her life for caring and loving her.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather from 2:00 pm until 2:30 pm, on  Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   A Celebration of Maxine's Life will begin at 2:30 pm.
