Mattie Smoote, age 79, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015, in Leesburg, Virginia. She was born May 21, 1936, in Havana, Alabama. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at the Walker- Walnut Hills Chapel, 1025 E. McMillan Street , Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow Vine Street Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
