Brannon Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky 40356 Matthew Shuey, age 26, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Born June 8, 1984, he was the son of Steven and Denise Frey Shuey. He was a graduate of Lexington Catholic High School and Centre College, where he lettered on the swim team. Matt was a pilot for Aero Resources Corp. in Hazard, KY and passed away in an airplane doing what he loved to do. He had a passion for flying and that was his life-long dream. Beloved son of Steven and Denise Frey Shuey; devoted brother of Jamie Elizabeth Shuey; loving grandson of Eugene and Joan Shuey. He leaves 17 aunts and uncles, and many cousins to cherish his memory. Matt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgil and Anna Frances Nemes Frey. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 29, 2011, at Clark Legacy Center, 601 E. Brannon Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky (40356). In lieu of flowers and in honor of Matt's life and legacy, donations can be made to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
