Matthew Rucker Jr.

Matthew Rucker, Jr. was born on August 12, 1980, to Ramona Hill and Matthew Rucker, Sr.

As a child, Matt Jr. enjoyed swimming and tumbling.  He was baptized as a youth at Southern Baptist Church.  He attended the Cincinnati Public Schools. He was wise before his time.  He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and had a big heart. He was very loyal to his friends and family very protective.  Matt Jr. always had encouraging words of wisdom for his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his only child, Makiyah, and his nephews.

Matt Jr's passion was to open a home for the mentally challenged and help that population of people. He touched so many lives while he was with us.

Matt Jr. was preceded in death by his parents Ramona Hill and Matthew Rucker Sr., his mother,  Evelyn Johnson,  sister,  Dorene Hill, and nephew,  Brian Maxwell.

Matt Jr. leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Makiyah Kimble, siblings,  Johnny Rucker, Lolita Hill, Derrick Hill and Wanda Maxwell and aunt Sheila Jerry.  He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation is from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, on  SATURDAY, AUGUST 11, 2018, at the Walker Funeral Home, 1025 E. McMillan Street, Cincinnati 45206.   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow at Baltimore Pike Cemetery, 3200 Costello Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
