IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Delores
Turner
May 5, 1953 – August 28, 2022
Mary Delores Turner May 5, 1953 - August 28, 2022
Mary Deloris Turner aka (Doll) life journey began on May 5, 1953 born in Cincinnati, OH to Monroe and Floree Turner. She was given the nickname (Doll ) by her parents at birth as she resembled a beautiful baby doll. She was the 6th oldest of 16 Children.
Mary was Proud graduate of Hughes High School in 1971, and attended Cincinnati State where she later obtained an associates degree. She immediately went to work for the University of Cincinnati which she retired after 30 years of dedicated service.
Mary enjoyed Western movies, her cat and her dog Butterball but she was most happiest spending time with her family and friends.
She was a wonderful woman of many attributes. A loving sister, aunt, favorite cousin and friend. She immediately took on the loving role of a motherly figure to many people but especially to her siblings after the loss of their mother, always showing love and giving the most honest (unfiltered) advice and a look on her face that meant business.
Even though Mary fell asleep in death on August 28, 2022, She believed in the resurrection (John 11:25) because she knew her father in Heaven will allow her to see her loving family again and her new home in his Original Purpose on a beautiful Paradise earth.
Mary was preceded in death by both parents Monroe & FloreeTurner and six of her siblings Larry Lee, Samuel Lee, Joseph Lee, Pamela Turner, Ronnie Turner and Danny Turner, Latasha M. Turner (Niece)
Mary's memory will be cherished by her dear loved ones, to include her surviving sibling brothers Willie Lee, Phillip Lee, Robert Turner, Gary Turner, Stevie Turner, Larry Turner, Kenneth Turner, Anthony Turner and Eric Turner along with a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
