Mary Candy Crump was born on September 24, 1968, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Eugene Sr. and Annie Laurie Crump. She was called home to glory on June 25, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Crump Jr.

Candy graduated from Aiken High School 1986. She dedicated 20 years of her career to the Internal Revenue Service. Outside of work, she cherished her bond with her dog, Eva, and found joy in shopping while exploring new destinations. Candy was someone who enjoyed her own company; however, she was also full of life, always ready to share laughter, stories, and moments with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two nieces, Eldest Angela Crump and Tracia Foster-Moore; three great-nieces' Eldest Ciara, Juaneisha, and De’Jah; only great nephew Dwayne, Jr, and five great-great nephews/nieces Eldest Antrell, Aaliyah, Daylen, Damari, and Ala’Jah, sister-in-love Audrey Crump, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The world lost a beautiful soul, but heaven gained an angel~ may you be forever at peace.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm.
