It is with deep sadness we announce the heavenly transition of Mary Butts-Hairston, age 82, of Cincinnati, Ohio,  who entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 5, 2024, in Cincinnati,  Ohio.   She was born on Sunday, August 16, 1942, in Camden , Alabama.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3655 Harvey Avenue, Cincinnati  (45229).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
