On Thursday morning May 14, 2015, Mary A. Fletcher-Brooks was called to her heavenly home. Mary entered this life on March 4, 1930, born to the late Eileen and James Fletcher in Nashville, Tennessee. Dooley as she was nick-named by her late uncle, Frank Fletcher, Sr., moved to Cincinnati Ohio at the early age of 16. Dooley loved to sing and enjoyed singing in the church she united with many years ago, Second Unity Missionary Baptist. She was committed and worked in many other areas of the church until her health began to fail. Dooley was united with the late Tommy Brooks many years ago and they together raised a daughter Jean-Ann Booker, grand-daughter Cynthia Booker and son Tony Brooks Wynn. Dooley and her family loved to travel and especially to Nashville to visit family and loved attending the annual family reunion. She also enjoyed hours of shopping with her loving sister Aggie Mae Bailey, who preceded her in death. She will be missed by all who knew her and especially her family! Dooley leaves those to cherish her memory, a loving & devoted son Tony Brooks Wynn, daughter Jean-Ann Booker, granddaughters Cynthia Brooks-Hankerson, Michelle Booker, and Emanual Daniels all of Cincinnati, Oh, and Robbyia Ford, Fredrick, Md; many great and great great grandchildren, devoted first cousin Louise Hailey-Miller, Frank (Theresa) Fletcher, Nashville, Tn, loving cousins Mary, Raleita & Kevin Furlow, Dayton, Oh, Shirley (Howard) Chapman, Clinton, Tn, William 'Billy' Hailey, III, Herbert T. (Shirley) Brown, Thomas (Cheeta) Brown, Rita Harrison & Mary L. Wallace, all of Nashville, Tn, a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation is from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Monday, June 1, 2015, at the Walker - Findlay Street Chapel, 930 Findlay Street, Cincinnati (45214). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 4:00 pm. You may express online condolences at www.HerbWalker.com.
