Marty Jerome Johnson was born February 21, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Marion Harold Johnson and Barbara Ann Johnson.

Marty loved the Lord and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

He graduated from Purcell High School in 1979 where he was a football player and also attended Hampton Institute College in Hampton, Virginia.

Marty was a kind, caring and loving man.  His sense of humor left a lasting impression on all that knew him.  Some of his favorite hobbies included riding bikes, listening to jazz music and making others laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Johnson and Marion Johnson.

Marty departed this life for his heavenly home on Monday, July 12, 2021.

Marty leaves to cherish his memories: his sisters, Letha D. (Carl) Smedley and Leslie (Donald) Landrum; two nephews, LeShaun (Andrea) Smedley and Cameron (Jasmine) Smedley; two nieces, Dalon Landrum and Shelby Landrum; five great-nephews, seven great-nieces, eldest living aunt, Claire Lou Davis; special cousin, Betty Lee; the love of his life, Glenda Keith and her three sons, who Marty called his own, Eric, Aaron and Shaun Keith; two grandson, Davon and Ryan Keith, and a host of other close family and friends.Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at the Walker Funeral Home, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.

In keeping with CDC Covid19 Guidelines, we encourage those who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask.
