Martha Lee (Edwards) Minter passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio at age 84, to be in the safety of God's arms..  She was born on July 31, 1936 in Haynesville, Alabama to the late M.D. & Elizabeth (Singleton) Edwards.

Martha was educated in the Alabama School system.  She met  and married the late John Minter in Cincinnati.  She raised her children in the Laurel Homes, and resided in the City West until her death.  Martha worked and retired from Beechwood Nursing Home.

To know her was to love her.  She was a very loving and kind person who never met a stranger.  She was a devoted member of Revelation Missionary Baptist Church.  She was also an excellent cook, and loved to feed people.  Many had the opportunity to enjoy her delicious home cooked meals.  She enjoyed reading the newspaper, and keeping in touch with family  You could rest assured that you would hear from her on your birthday.

Martha loved her family, and is rejoicing in heaven with all those family members that proceeded her in death - Siblings:  Rose Edwards, Willie Edwards, Lucy Steverson, Samuel Edwards, Mae Lue Seay, Mae Emma Battle, David Edwards, and John Edwards; Children:  Jacqueline Minter, Stanley Minter; Grandchildren: Randy Minter, Keith Minter.

Martha  leaves to cherish her memory - Siblings: Nancy Hall, Bertha Edwards, and Georgia Edwards; Children: Martha Elizabeth Minter, Jimmy Minter, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and close friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, July 3, 2021, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. In keeping with CDC Covid19 Guidelines, we encourage those who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask.

Interment will be private at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, 45220
