IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marilyn
Thompson
October 15, 1968 – April 3, 2019
Marilyn Thompson, age 50 of Covington, KY earned her wings on Wednesday April 3, 2019. She was born October 15, 1968, in Covington, Kentucky.
Marilyn worked as a health aide earlier in her life, until her own health started to fail her. She was that aunt that all nieces and nephews loved to hang out at her house and be silly with. She had a very deep love for them all. Marilyn's greatest accomplishments and deepest love was for her two children and her grandkids.
One of the happiest times for her was when she accepted Christ into her life and got baptized. Marilyn was a member of Second Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Fred McMillan. She loved life to the fullest and always knew how to make those around her laugh. You never knew what she was gonna say or do that would make you laugh. She will be missed by many but has left us with so many memories and her infectious laughter will forever ring in our ears.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her father Rudy Thompson and sister Teresa Thomas Thompson.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Linda Thompson; grandmother, Ruby Carter; children, Rudy and Shabria Thompson, both from Covington, KY; seven grandchildren, Raquel Perry, Rudy Thompson, Raymier Thompson, Lygend Henderson, Samara Thompson, James Simms and Shamiyah Thompson; five sisters, Hope (Lester) Hambrick, Covington, KY, Sharon (Joe) Hart, St. Matthews, SC, Carla (Marcus) Crumes, Covington, KY, Victoria (LaRon) Irwin, Covington, KY, Michelle (Daniel) Thompson, Covington, KY; four brothers, Gilbert (Charla) Crumes, Newport, KY, Rudell Thompson, Covington,KY, Norman Crumes, Covington, KY and Edward Thompson, Atlanta, GA; special nephew, K'Menn Crumes; two very special friends, Kimberly Martin and Dorothea Marshall-Shealy, also survived by a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sleep on our dear mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, we will love you forever.
