Marie (O'Hara) Mitchem was born in Cincinnati, OH on 11-22-1937 to the late Edward Porter O'Hara and Mary Ethel (Mitchell) O'Hara. She departed this earthly life on December 18, 2025. She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy O'Hara; her brother Edward O'Hara and her son Patrick V. Mitchem.

She attended Cincinnati, OH public schools. She was known to everyone as Ms. Peaches. Ms. Peaches loved to travel to places like New York, New Jersey, Cleveland, OH and Detroit, MI. Ms. Peaches had several hobbies: she collected pennies, crocheted bottle holders, did picture puzzles and she played cards. She was the talk of the town for her big parties she threw every year. She loved to hit the dance floor dancing her heart out. She had pets that she loved like her fish and birds. Ms. Peaches also was known for her good cooking which she catered from time to time.

Marie leaves not to mourn but to cherish her life memory 3 sons; Sylvester O'Hara, Marcus Lamont Mitchem and Paul Edward Mitchem Jr. 2 daughters Andrea Ronell Mitchem and Sonja (Toney) Wilcox.10 Grand children, 27 Great Grand, 6 Great Great Grand and one on the way. Three sisters; Thema (O'Hara) Forbes, Sharon O'Hara and Pam Williams. Two special cousins Greta Ward and Sandra (Mitchell) Wright and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).  The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation,  beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
