On April 27th, 2024, Marian passed away peacefully, surrounded by several family members, on her own terms. She had a way of doing things in her own unique way, even at the end. Marian was the daughter of Albert and Annabelle (Kollman) Beimesche, both of whom are deceased.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Omer Scharold. She was the oldest sister of Ruth Gumz (Don), Flo Hampton, Don Beimesche (deceased) (Nancy), and Alice Vockell (Ed). Marian was a loving mother to Joe (Dagmar), Jerry (deceased), Jan, and John, and the adoptive mother of Sheila Reisch. She was also the grandmother of Nick (Danielle), Silas, Eli (Katlyn), Adele (Daniel), and Sabina (Jake). Although she missed the birth of her first great-granddaughter by just a few days, she was thrilled at the thought of welcoming a new little one into the family. She is also survived by several nephews, two nieces, and some wonderful friends.

Marian was a lifetime Reds fan and proud to be a Rosie Red for most of her adult life. She volunteered at quite a few organizations during her 90 years. There are no words to describe the impact she had on those of us who knew her. Marian will be truly missed.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the St. Therese Catholic Church, 11 Temple Place, Newport  (41071).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

Interment will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, 1523 Alexandria Pike, Ft. Thomas, Kentucky 41075.
