Maria Catron, age 63, passed away on December 11, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Maria was a firm believer in the Lord, and her faith guided her with quiet strength and compassion. She was an avid lover of music and poetry, finding joy and comfort in both. Maria also loved to talk and could strike up a conversation with anyone willing to listen, sharing stories, laughter, and heartfelt words. Known for her generous spirit, Maria freely gave her time, ears, and long conversation whenever possible, always extending kindness and care to others.

Maria was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Margret Rickman; her sister, Wendy Crum; and her grandmother, Vanie Rickman.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Kristy Stevens (Greg); her brother, Jeff Rickman (Marsha); her cherished grandchildren, Kourtney Joseph (Dustin), Isaiah Benson (Christi), Caleb Benson, Michaela Benson, and Aryanna Benson; her beloved great-grandchildren, Kameron and Jace; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Maria's life and faith are beautifully reflected in the words of John 3:16:  "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Maria will be remembered for her talkative, loving nature, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
