IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margie Louise
(Stewart) Conrad
September 29, 1940 – September 22, 2023
Margie Louise (Stewart) Conrad was born September 29, 1940, to the union of Charles E. Stewart and Dorothy Barnes Stewart in Covington, KY. Margie gained her wings on Friday, September 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Margie cleaned the offices of judges and lawyers. She also worked at Shelby's Restaurant on Fourth Street. She was a jack of all trades. She would repair just about anything. Her main thing to do was splicing extension or lamp cords. She did not wait for "any" man to repair things; she did them herself. Margie was a go-getter.
Margie had loud popping fingers. Her favorite hangout spot was The Corner Pocket. The "older" people know exactly why.
Margie enjoyed working puzzle books, scratching off her bingo lottery tickets and watching the Game Show Network. She would sit for hours and hours working word search book. She also loved to cook, especially her "secret" ingredient brownies, that many people could not get enough of. She was called the "Candy Lady" by many children in the neighborhood, we all know why. She enjoyed doing what she did. Most people called her "Mama." She was well loved.
Marge was my ride or die sister. We shared a lot over the years. We were always there for each other through thick and thin. Love ya, Lois
Margie, my wonderful sister that I'm going to miss dearly, love always, your little brother, Kent.
Margie, you may be gone in body, but you will always be with us in heart and spirit. Rest in peace, Love and prayers be with you. Charles (Brother), Merle, Marlon, Steven and Family.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Stewart; sons, Reginald Stewart, Robinson, and Eric Conrad; sister, Charlene Gillespie; grandson, Rodriguez Walker and other family members and friends.
Margie is survived by her daughters, Marilynn, Frances and Robin Conrad, Cynthia LeMarbe, Donna (William) Frazier; sons, Rodney, Donald, and Alfred Conrad; sister, Delores Duncan; brothers, Charles, Ronald (Gatewood), and Kent Stewart; 50 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren, and other family members and friends.
Mama is already missed! Rest on your throne, our Queen. We love you!
