Marcus Carr was born on February 1, 1975, at 11:38 PM at Good Samaritan Hospital to Clarence and Martha Carr.

He attended Rockdale Elementary School and went to Withrow High School before transferring to Aiken High School, where he graduated. After graduation, Marcus held several jobs, eventually working for LSICo until he became ill. He also worked as an Uber driver until he could no longer continue. Marcus loved making memories, especially with his family. He had a passion for travel and enjoyed playing the lottery every day. Known for his good heart and vibrant spirit, he was the life of the party, always making others laugh. A sports fanatic, his favorite football team was the Green Bay Packers, and his favorite basketball team was the LA Lakers. I will miss sitting and watching the games with him.

Marcus is survived by his children: Marlena Beldsoe, Kenya Davis, Melanie Davis, Devontae Underwood, and Marcus, Jr., all of Cincinnati; one grandson, Christiano Elliott; his parents, Clarence and Martha Carr; his fiancée, Kayla Ellison; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
