Mabel L. Barton was born June 13, 1930 in Atlanta, GA to the union of the late Annie Mae Hudson and the late Andrew Crowder. She was their only child. She moved to Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of fifteen. She departed this life on June 6, 20l3. Mabel was a God fearing woman and loved her children with a firm hand. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Mabel retired from National Distillery which is now known as Jim Beam after twenty-five years of dedicated service until her health began to decline. Mabel leaves to mourn her passing: four children, Gregory Hill, Gwendolyn Barton, Sheila Johnson and Anthony Barton, all of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Michael Barton, Kelia Barton, Jamie Barton, Keyunna Barton, Rasheem Barton, Kevin Barton, Edward Kemp, David Kemp, Ashley Hall (Atlanta); seven great grandchildren, Michael Barton, Jr., Marcus Barton, Brandy Barton, Branden Barton, Kearie Barton Anya McDonald and Ke'waun Richardson, a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services 3:00 p.m., at Walker Funeral Home 1025 E. McMillan Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206. Visitation 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
