Luis Figgs Jr. was born on November 27, 1956 to Luis Figgs Sr. and Patricia Figgs. Luis lived a life marked by hard work, laughter, creativity and unwavering love for his family.
He was artistic and extremely athletic. He played basketball and baseball throughout his youth and was an exceptional drawing artist whose creativity impressed all who knew him.
For more than 50 years, Luis built a respected career in the dry-cleaning industry as a master presser. He took pride in his work and earned a reputation as a hardworking, dedicated, dependable professional. No matter the weather, Luis was always dressed to impress. His sharp suits became a signature part of who he was and reflected the pride he took in his appearance.
Luis was a loving father, devoted grandfather, loyal friend and a joy to be around. He had a wonderful sense of humor that could brighten any room and his colorful personality made lasting impressions on everyone he met. He cherished spending time with family and friends, sharing laughter, stories and unforgettable moments.
Luis was preceded in death by his beloved parents: Patricia Figgs and Luis Figgs Sr., as well as his siblings: George White, and Bertha Figgs.
He leaves to cherish his memory the devoted mother of his children Cheryl Faulkner; his loving daughters Patricia Figgs, and Karen Figgs, and his cherished grandchildren, Kayla Figgs, Ke’Aire Figgs, Kamron Figgs, Keon Figgs, Kristina Figgs, and Kassidy Figgs; his brother, Eric Figgs along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
He will be laid to rest at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 3117 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
