Obituary

Lucille Kendricks was born Lucille Johnson in Lowndes County, Alabama; to Ulle (Ball) and Jonas Johnson on May 9, 1915. She is proceeded in life by her parents, 9/ siblings, her husband and her son. She departed this life on November 20,2012 at home with her loving family. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, at a very early age. She later rededicated her life back to the Lord, along with her husband Henry Kendricks. Both were baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Mangram Her life was filled hard work and servitude. (i.e., 'Day Laborer' Cook, Maid, Nanny, etc..) But despite her working extremely long hours, with very little pay in those days/and in poor working conditions; she had plenty of love and energy for her family ... 5/Generations of selfless LOVING! She moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in the 1940's. There she met Henry Kendricks and his children. Deloris (Lois) and Henry Jr. (Brother). She was a loving mother to them as well their generations thereafter. She leaves behind to cherish her memories and WISDOM: Daughter (Lois), 2 granddaughters, Luvenia aden and Belinda Arrington; 2 great grandchildren, Charles and T amiki aden; 7 great great grandchildren; and 1 great, great, great grandchild; along with host of nieces and nephews.
