Obituary

Louise Bernice Perry was born on February 13, 1943, in Eads, Tennessee, to the late Willie "Dickie" Webber and Kathryn Person Neal. She peacefully passed away on February 16, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 81.

Louise dedicated her life to being a loving homemaker, cherishing her family above all else. She found joy in the simple pleasures of sewing, knitting, and crochet, hobbies that brought her immense satisfaction. On the most beautiful days, she also enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard to enjoy the sunny weather and warm breeze.  First thing every morning, Louise called the Weatherline to check the weather and time. She enjoyed the weather. She understood that after every storm, there would be sunshine. Louise never complained about anything. She knew when the rough days came, the good days were right behind them. As one of the most resilient and strongest warriors, Louise never complained.  Louise loved and cherished time. Most importantly, the time spent with the people that loved her.  She will be remembered for her love of reading love stories, watching soap operas, and listening to classic R&B music. Louise's warm and nurturing nature touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her son, Shawn Perry, and siblings, Kathryn Mabone, Ernestine Shaw, Mary Helen Gant, Cleveland Neal, Ernest Brazzel, Willie Webber, Curtis Webber, and John Willie Webber.

Louise leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her siblings, Vernita Jones, Leola Plummer, Mable Webber, and Warde Webber; her daughters, Lisa (Jett) Embry, Karen Neal-Hawkins, Tiara (Perry) Rembert, Marla (Perry) Ewing; 10 grandchildren, Monika Hawkins, Shawn Hawkins, Tamela Rembert, Lauren Rembert, Daniel Rembert, Brielle Aw, Brandie Ewing, Nikolaus Jett, Stefan Embry, and Julian Embry; 5 great-grandchildren, Londyn Hawkins, Aubrey Hawkins, Jaelynn Hawkins, Seyni Aw and Djibril Aw. Louise will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and friends.
