Lottie Jones, age 81, passed away June 25, 2013. Lottie Marie Jones was born January 5, 1932, in Abbeville, South Carolina, to a young Frances L. Dutch (who preceded her in death). In the early morning hours of June 27, 2013, she peacefully made the transition from this earthly life into the arms of her Lord and Savior. As a young girl, Lottie enjoyed the simplicity of farm life and the warmth of her family. Around 1946 she followed her family to Cincinnati, via Atlanta, Georgia. As a young lady she joined with the now late Charles Jones, Sr. She was the proud mother of Francine Lowry and Charles Jones, Jr. (who preceded her in death). Along the way Lottie worked as a domestic. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Ohio State Firemen Association. She was trained in advanced first aid by the National Red Cross Association. She loved to collect antiques and loved blues music. She leaves to mourn: her companion of over 40 years, Jimmie Lee Goolsby; her daughter, Francine Lowry, whom she loved and cherished; grandsons, De'Wayne Chiles, Robert (Gina) Lowry and Terry Lowry (preceded her in death), a host of family and friends. She will be greatly missed Funeral Services 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 11 at Walker Funeral Home, 1025 E.
