Lisa Annette McCowan Miller was born April 7, 1971 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She departed this life on Sunday, September 14, 2025 in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a child she enjoyed music, having fun, and being around family and friends. She graduated from Western Hills High School in 1989 where she received awards in leadership and sung in the High School choir and joined the performing arts. She continued her education for two years at The University of Cincinnati.

Lisa worked at The Hooters Restaurant as a "Hooters Girl". She enjoyed the adventure by making public appearances at Charity events, fundraisers, and company events to promote the company brand.

In 1995 Lisa's adventure side lead her with her best friend to drive cross country with only $800.00 in her pocket to Los Angeles, California where she found warm sunny days on the beach, was a fitness advocate, and made new friends. She embraced and enjoyed the social life. One of the many highlights of her accomplishments was when she reached her career goal of being a Flight Attendant for American Airlines for 16 years. Her persist knowledge of the rules was noticed and was always willing to help passengers and coworkers.

She was often tagged as a model and approached by industry modeling and sports agents including offers from Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. That life style was not for her.

Lisa learned her next goal was marriage. She met and fell in love to a wonderful man and together they had a good union. Although they amicably parted ways Lisa was happy for the experience.

She was more than a pretty face she was quick-witted, funny, loving and able to write jingles.

Lisa moved back to Cincinnati, Ohio to be closer to family. She always loved being around family and helping others. Family loved having her around, talking, laughing, and dancing. Her smile and sassiness will be missed.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Mother, Patricia McCowan, Sister Michelle Gray , Aunt Joyce Nyongani (Uncle Paul), Uncle Rick McGuire (Aunt Jenny), Great Aunts; Aunt MaryJane Foster, Aunt Ruby Thomas, and Aunt Barbara Thomas. A devoted friend, Charles Deaton; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm.
