Linda Gail Lawler was born March 15, 1947 daughter to the union of Mr. Ulysses and Mrs. Lena Mae Lawler. Linda was born in Gadsden, Alabama and graduated from Carver High School in 1965. She was baptized on March 1, 1977. Linda worked and retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Linda is preceded in death by her father Ulysses Lawler, her stepfather George Hubbert and her mother Lena Mae Hubbert, her sister Patricia Ann Scott, her brother-in-law Mark Bragg and sister-in-law Annie Murl Hubbert.
Linda is survived by her daughter Christina Nicole Covington Lawler. Two Sisters: Rosetta (James) Jenkins, Cornelia Bragg, one brother: David Hubbert, and brother-in-law Henry Scott, her long time friend Noelle and her daughter Karen Byerly, her closest friend and sister in the faith Julie Reeves-Unselt, Nephews: Michael Baker, Kevin Jenkins, Maurice Marshall, David (Adrianne) Hubbert. Nieces: Jennifer Scott, Rochelle Jenkins, Jane (Larry) Williams, Karen (Sean) VonRabenau, Quanita Abedide. Great Nephews: Kameron Jenkins, Zander Marshall, Boston & Memphis VonRabenau. Great Nieces: Jadien, Madison & Paige Williams, Kamea Jenkins, Savannah VonRabenau, and a host of friends.
Linda Gail Lawler spent much of her youth pioneering before working full-time for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Linda enjoyed being a mom to her daughter especially being a Kentucky Colonel "band mom" for her daughter's marching band at Dixie Heights High School. After retiring she moved to the Gulf Coast, Mobile, Alabama; creating a new home and life spending time with her sister, Rosetta, her nieces Rochelle and Kamea and her nephew Kevin. Linda enjoyed making new friends, going to the beach, art walks, having visits from her daughter, her nieces Jennifer and Quanita, engaging in the field ministry and other theocratic activities. In time, she moved back to Crescent Springs, Kentucky increasing the bond with her sister Cornelia and brother David. Also making special memories with her nephews Michael, Maurice and Zander. Linda Gail will be remembered for never meeting a stranger, her incredible love for cooking, and her love for her God Jehovah. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Christina and their family and friends.
Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 1915 Amsterdam Road, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky 41017.
