Linda Faye Jones was born on September 21, 1967. To the late Ruby and Eligh Jones in Hollandale, Mississippi. Linda was the oldest of 12 children., her sister Ruby Lee Jones and brother Carl Lee Jones preceded her in death.

Linda moved to Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of six where she was raised by her late grandmother Carrie Johnson. After finishing high school at Taft High School, she worked in healthcare as a CNA, and housekeeper for years. She soon left healthcare to gain her CDL’s and work for the City of Cincinnati, she worked there for 21 years.

Linda lived with a quiet strength, loved with her whole heart, she was so funny always making everyone laugh. She was the life of the party, so giving to all those around her. Linda loved listening to music, reading books, and spending time with family. She took in Miracle, her niece at birth, she later took in another niece and nephew Lanesha Jones and Shawnquez Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memory 3 daughters: Latisha Jones, Lachelle Jones and Erin Smith; 3 sons: Marquis Smith, Dashay Hill and Micheal Robinson; 9 siblings: Rosa L. Jones, Dorothy Jones, Catherine Jones, Mary Jones, Danita Jones, Eligh Jones, Eugene Jones, Terry Jones, Vernon Jones (Lil Man); 13 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 4:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
