IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Ann
Grant
November 29, 1954 – April 6, 2022
Linda Ann (Blair) Grant, age 67, of Cincinnati, Ohio left this earthly realm after a valiant fight with cancer on Friday, April 8th, 2022 surrounded by family and friends as she transitioned. It would be amiss to say she lost her battle because even in her last moments with us, she never stopped fighting. On her worst days, she remained hopeful and determined, continuing to spread love and joy to everyone. Through her, we know what strength and resilience truly is.
Linda was born on November 29, 1954, to the late Herser and Rachel (Lattimore) Blair in High Point, North Carolina. She moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to live with her grandmother Edna Lattimore at the age of thirteen. She attended Woodward High School and at the age of 62, she earned her associate degree in Business Administration from Beckfield College in 2016. An accomplishment of which she was extremely proud.
She had a fiery and flamboyant personality, making her the life of the party. She had an entertaining sense of humor and a heart made of gold. Linda was dedicated to her family and friends, always willing to do anything to make someone feel better. She loved God and his people and found joy in church and worship, singing in the choir, and attending bible school. She consistently helped others whenever she could. Her dreams were to one day open a homeless shelter named "Linda's Hope House." In her free time, she enjoyed action and science fiction movies, outings with friends, singing, dancing, tending to her plants, and spending time with family.
Linda is survived by her three children: Keia, Shori, and Kamari; seven grandchildren: Aneika, Marshae, Myashia, Ricardo, Storm, Carlos, and Elijah; five siblings: Troy, Ernest, Hersey, Katherine, and Anita; along with nine great-grandchildren including her "grand divas" as she would often call them, one great-grandchild on the way, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lastly her dog; Princess, whom she loved so much. To say she will be missed is an understatement. The absence of her presence will be felt every day, but she will live on through her family and friends.
Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Friday, April 22, 2022, at the Macedonia Living Word Fellowship Church, 353 W. Kemper Road, Springdale (45246). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
