Lillie Bell Rodgers was born June 13, 1948, in Humboldt, Tennessee, to the late David and Emma Bell Johnson. She passed away May 23, 2013, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at age 64. Lillie was baptized at an early age at St. James Missionary Church. She graduated from Stigall High School in 1970. She was employed at Futuro, where she worked until she became ill. She joined christian life and rededicated her life to Christ. Lillie leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Lawrance; three daughters, Marzetta (Vette), Tracy, Shannon (Shan); sisters, Allie of Gary, Indiana and Marie, Alleen, Priscilla, Brenda, and Bridgett (Kenny) all of Cincinnati, Diane and Donna of Jackson, Tennessee; brothers, James (Martha), Sonny (Sharon), Myron (Brenda), Louis (Lynn) and Anthony (Lavonne) all of Jackson, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Jermaine, Jawaan, Jabrell, Zandor, Laticia, Donovan, Donaisia, and Kyari; and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Milton and her brother, Mark Johnson. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1 at First Baptist Church of Kennedy Heights, 6201 Red Bank Road, Kennedy Heights, OH 45213 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until hour of service. Interment United American Cemetery . Pallbearers: Jermaine Johnson, Jabrella Johnson, Jawuan Leathers, Zandor Williams, Dedrick Johnson, Travis Johnson, and Jermiah Bullock. Honorary Pallbearers: James Virginia, Sonnie Johnson, Myron Johnson, Louis Johnson, Anthony Johnson, Kenny Glenn, and Kenny Lee. Flower bearers: nieces and friends.
