Lillian Ruth Tudor, 89, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on December 17, 2021 due to a heart condition. A native of Cincinnati, she was born Lillian Ruth Jones on October 23, 1932 to Douglas and Margaret Jones and was the eldest daughter of seven.

Lillian graduated from Woodward High School in 1951 and briefly attended the University of Cincinnati until giving birth to her son, Rodney Charles Jones. Always stylish, Lillian worked for many years at Gidding-Jenny Department Store, where she met her soon-to-be husband, Donald Tudor and the couple had one daughter, Inger Donnene Tudor. She later received her cosmetology license and became a manicurist for many years at Staggs Barbershop, where she was always a customer favorite.

After the tragic death of her son in a car accident in 1979, the family relocated for a stint to southern California. Lillian returned to Cincinnati in 1982, where she resumed working as a manicurist until health concerns prevented her from continuing. Formerly a member of Zion Baptist Church, Lillian became a faithful and beloved member of Christ Emmanuel Christian Fellowship, where she served in the church bookstore for many years.

Lillian is survived by her daughter, Inger Tudor, her sister Edith Robinson, her brother Gilbert Jones and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Margaret Jones, her brothers, Charles Nesbitt, Douglas Jones, and Donald Jones; her son Rodney Charles Jones, and her husband Donald Tudor.

A memorial service, date to be determined, will be held at Christ Emmanuel Christian Fellowship in spring 2022.
