Lillian Frances Guinn Jones rejoined our creator on the beautiful energy of the Spring Equinox on March 20, 2015. Born August 4th, 1938 in Maysville KY. One of two daughters of Mary Bell Bertha Whitehead and John Austin Guinn Sr. Both preceding her in death. Also preceding her in death: Brothers, John Derrick Guinn and John Austin Guinn Jr. and one sister, Nadra King; 3 grand children London, Paris and Demharia. She is survived by: Her sister Eddie Jean Pharr, of Cincinnati OH, 5 wonderful children: Reginald Wayne Guinn, Dr. Vincent Lee Guinn, Dorthea Renee Guinn Williams, Robin Quinelle Jones Johnson, and Tonalea Kaye Jones, all of Cincinnati Ohio, and a daughter by marriage, Diane Josephine Thompson, of Buffalo, NY. The legacy she leaves to continue the family has grown beyond measure. Currently, the list includes 22 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was also "Granny Jones" to many others. She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. What a fabulous legacy! She worked as a payroll clerk at Frisch's General Office for many years and retired from that position in 1979. She created Granny Day, an annual gathering of her immediate family. The tradition began July 9, 2005 and was enjoyed by all. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Monday, March 30, 2015, at the Evergreen Baptist Church, 704 Gholson, Cincinnati (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation and will begin at 11;00 a.m.. Interment will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery. You may express online condolences at www.HerbWalker.com.
