Lester Albert Ward born to the union of Ollie Ward and Irma Crutcher August 12, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He transitioned to his heavenly home on October 25, 2014. Lester attended Olyer and Deporres High School. Lester joined the United States Navy where he served 4 years. Lester received his associate graduate degree at the University of Cincinnati. He worked at the United States Postal Services 25 years and later became a Hamilton County Sheriff for 3 years. Lester was an entrepreneur and stated a trucking company called Sudden Trucking, Lester confessed Christ and gave his life to the Lord in 2007. He united in marriage with Harriet Harper in 1959. Three siblings preceded him in death Ollie, Calvin, and Joyce. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 55 years Harriet R. Ward his 5 children Lester A. (Sandra), Wardell M., Michael Q.(Shawn), Alfred R., Sharon R.(Marzett) His two brothers Wayne (Wanda), and Rick. Also he will be forever remembered by his 17 grandchildren Daneka (Greg), Patrice (Rodney), Dania, Malika, Terrance, Brittney, Brandee, Briana, Brandon, Michael (Yudee), Aaron, Martina, Adrian, Almisha, Alex (Ajay), Alexis and Aminah. Lester also has 20 great-grandchildren and two special daughters, Nancy (Kim) and Michelle (Mimi), He has a host of niece's and nephews, cousins and friends. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend mere words cannot express how he touched the lives of everyone who knew and met him. Lester was a great loving and generous man. He was a symbol of love and he was devoted to his family and friends. He will be forever remembered loved and cherished by many, for his funny jokes and great sense of humor he could always make us laugh. He was not only father to his 5 children but many other family and friends looked to him as a father figure. his strength, love and kindness will be missed immensely.
