LeShan Mims born January 20th 1978 to Augustus Bradley Mims Jr. and Barbara Ann Magnolia Floyd of Cincinnati, Ohio. A graduate of Princeton High School 1996 class, he attended the JATC that is apart of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 212 apprenticeship training in 2005. He graduated as an Journeyman Electrician in March of 2010. LeShan was a loving father and a devoted husband to his wife and his son. He was a caring and loving brother and uncle and loved to do whatever he could for his family. He loved the outdoors, hiking, walking and nature. He also loved the written word and wrote short stories often. His love of the written word also encompassed his passion for conversations on many levels and many topics for which he was a great debater. He was an artist and an armature musician who always loved to express himself through drawing, creating and building. LeShan loved to make people laugh, smile and forget about their own worries and would work hard to find the solution to whatever situations they were going through. He was a loving and compassionate man that will be greatly missed from this earth. He is survived by his loving wife IfeTayo and their son David William. Mims of Houston, TX, Claire D. Mims of Norfolk,VA, Michael L. Mims of Washington, DC, V. Dwight Mims of Washington, DC, Jacqueline Mims-Rivera of Washington, DC, Pytell Floyd of Columbia, SC, Brandon Mims of Covington, KY, Rochelle Mims of Cincinnati, Ohio and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He will be sorely missed. Memorial Service be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at New Generations, 4595 Paddock Road, Cincinnati (45229).
