Leroy Lesley James Smith December 24, 2004 - September 12, 2023

Leroy "L.J." Smith, age 18, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Harrison Pavilion Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on December 24, 2004, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Leslie and Jonalyn (John) Smith.

Leroy was a senior at Northwest High School and a Deacon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Leroy lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: basketball, playing, and developing computer games. More importantly, he enjoyed spending time with family, especially his three nephews and two nieces.

Leroy was preceded in death by his beloved father, Leslie. He is survived by his loving mother, Jonalyn; brothers: Curtis, Raygon, and Nicholas sisters: Vinnie (Austin) and Jessica; nephews: Jerome, AJ, and Ronan; nieces: Atalesy and Isleena; as well as other family members, and friends whose lives Leroy touched.

Visitation is from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm, on  Friday, September 29, 2023, at the Walker Funeral Home - Butler County, 532 S. Second Street, Hamilton  (45011).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 12:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231.
