Mr. Leophus Traylor was born August 22, 1952 to the late Olivia Traylor of Gadsden, Alabama and James Jordon of Montgomery, Alabama. Leo departed his life on Wednesday December 4, 2013 in Ohio. He was married in holy matrimony to Debra D. Monroe on June 12, 1999. They were married 14 years. Leo was a graduate of Carver High School, in Gadsden, Alabama. He served four years in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. Leo continued to be active in the VA until his passing. Leo was a people person and he enjoyed socializing and watching various videos. Leo was preceded in death by his mother, Olivia (Virgil) Traylor Harkins; grandma, Bess Sturkey; siblings, twin Cleophus; Miller, Milton, Rickey Dan, in-laws, and other family members. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: wife, Debra Monroe Traylor of Ohio; one daughter, Annie Mae Sims of Kentucky; stepchildren, Tawanah Monroe and Robert Thomas Jr.; two siblings, Valerie Traylor Ruffin and Agnes Cole of Gadsden, Alabama; sister-in-law Donna (Lee) Jenkins and brother-in-law, Marcel Monroe all of Ohio, one grandson, Tobrelyn Bostick, of Kentucky. A special cousin who was like a sister, Ivy Lindsey Wells of Ohio, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special uncle-in-law, Larry Hill of Alabama.
