Lenora Foster Britton was born April 21, 1922 in Enterprise, Alabama to the union of Erie Germany and Son Foster. She was called home to the Lord as she slept peacefully on October 30, 2009 at 6:24 a.m Lenora was a private duty house keeper for many years before retiring and relocating to Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a devout Christian and a long standing member of Mars Hill Baptist Church, then moving her membership to Friendship Baptist Church under the Pastoral leadership of Rev. Sanky in brighton, Alabama before relocating to Cincinnati, Ohio. After moving to Cincinnati she became a member of Revelation Baptist Church then moving her membership to Union Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Yates. She attended faithfully until her health failed. Lenora Foster Britton 'Ms. Lee' as she was so often referred was a loving and devoted mother. She raised 9 of her own: 5 boys and 4 girls plus two nephews and a neice and one young lady in Cincinnati. She is preceded in death by her parents, Erie and Son Foster; her husband, Howard Britton, one sister, Jannie Lee Merritt 'Aunt Dit', three brothers, Ozie, Clarence and Allen, one nephew Charles Britton. Lenora is survived by one sister, Doreen Harris; sons, Richard Charles Fort (Bill) , Donald Foster (Jean), Ronnie Britton, Belinda Gail Sanders (Otis), Carol Ann Britton (Casey), Ruth Foster and Karjon Jones; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
