Dr. Lennie Hardin Hubbard passed away April 20, 2015, at St. Margaret Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Clarence Lafayette Hardin and Ella Belle Bumpass. She was the loving wife of the late Lester Franklin Hubbard. Dr. Hubbard was the loving mother of Carol Hubbard, MD, and devoted grandmother of Don P. Jason, III and Daniel P. Jason. Dr. Hubbard was a member of Metropolitan CME Church, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Cincinnati Federation of Teachers and the Hamilton County Retired Teachers Assocation. She was an Alumni of Edgecliff College, Xavier University, and Walden University. She had a long teaching career with the Cincinnati Public Schools. Four sisters, three brothers, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends survive her. Dr. Hubbard was a loving, generous and caring person and will be forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at the Norman Chapel at Spring Grove, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati (45232). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Omega Service will be at 10:45 a.m. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Interment is in Spring Grove Cemetery.
