Len Oliver Johnson Sr. was born December 13, 1931 to Reece and Carrie Johnson. He was the third of four children. Len graduated from St. Rita's School for the Deaf. There he studied art. Len was a very good artist. His talent led him to the floral industry, where he became an accomplished floral designer. Len was employed by Louis the Florist until he retired. Len worked there for 45 years. Len found his first love Sarah. They married and from that union were two children: Len O. Miller Jr. (who preceded him in death) and a daughter Jeanna Johnson. Len was a faithful member of the Allen Temple Usher Board until his illness kept him from attending. Len was preceded in death by his parents, Reece and Carrie, his brothers John (Junior) and Marion (Bit), and his wife Sarah. He is survived by his loving and attentive sister Lois A. Wilson, daughter Jeanna Johnson and a host of loving and caring relatives and friends.
