Le'Monte, aka Monie, was born on October 14,1999 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Cindy Shields and Charles Williams. Le'Monte accepted Christ at a young age while attending New Unity Baptist Church.

Monie departed this life on July 10, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Williams; his grandmother and grandfather.  Monie leaves to cherish his mother, Cindy Shields (Tyrone Haralson); 9 sisters; 5 brothers; and many beloved aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, dear friends and his special great aunt, Sandra Smith.

Monie shared an unconditional love with all of his family and friends, especially his sister, Karlee Shields.  Le'Monte loved family and was very protective of his little sisters.

Le'Monte graduated from Taft High School with honors in 2018. Monie became a mentee under his godfather, Richard Lane. Monie was the president of "Boys to Men-Stop the Violence" organization. Monie volunteered a lot of his time at Tukaan Farm. He loved recording one man skits & skits with his family. Monie had an aspiration to be an Electrical Engineer. He enjoyed electronics from programming computers to breaking TV's just to fix them. He also loved to cook and volunteered as a youth advocate.

Everyone that crossed Le'Monte's path felt his love, respect and humbleness. He had a smile that would light up a room and a personality that made you love him.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Friday, July 26, 2019, at the Walker Life Celebration Center - McMILLAN STREET CHAPEL, 1025 E. McMillan Street, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
