Leah  X January 17, 1955 - February 7, 2023

Born Paula Bonaparte on January 17, 1955 to Gladys Hitson in Chicago, Illinois. After her newfound religion in 2013, she legally changed her name to Leah X.

She relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio with her mother at a young age.

After the passing of her mother, she went to live with and was raised by her Aunt Hallie and Uncle Benjamin Torey, along with their 10 children.

Leah graduated from Hughes center in 1974 where she belong too many social clubs. She later went on to obtain her degree in business administration.

Leah had a true passion for photography and worked for Olan mills for many years. She enjoyed taking pictures of family and friends in her free time.

She also worked in the transportation industry and drove the school bus for Peterman, and  also Washington limousine company where she met celebrities and made many life long friends.

Family was important to her, and she made it a point to be present at all birthdays, graduations, and holidays.

Although, Leah didn't have children of her own she was a pillar in all of her younger cousin's lives, more like an aunt to them all.

Leah had a love for children so much that she became a teacher for grade school students until her dearly departing. She loved all of her students and peers very much and would share memories with her family.

Leah is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys, Hitson, and leaves to cherish her memory, a host of family, friends and students.

She will be deeply missed.

Gathering of family and friends  is from 2:00 pm until 2:30 pm on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the Walker Funeral Home- Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.  The memorial service will immediately follow the gathering beginning at 2:30 pm.
