Lawrence Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026. He was born on March 3, 1943, to the union of William D. Kinceton Moore and Phyllis (Faulkner) Moore.

Lawrence was previously married, and to that union five children were born: Andrew, Lawrence, Jr., Brian, Valerie, and Varisha. Later, He married Patricia A. Woods on November 1, 2005. This union gained Lawrence three bonus children: James Woods, Tina Easterling, and Jason Woods.

Lawrence was a hardworking man who worked as a chef for 32 years. All who knew Lawrence will remember him as a warm, caring, and gentle man. He always went out of his way to help you in any way he could. Even when his health started failing, he would still try to find little ways to help or show you how much he loved you. He was a friendly and very outgoing person. On his journey, he touched many lives. He will be greatly missed by us all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Phyllis Moore, and his brothers, Gary, Theodore, James, Leroy (his twin), Kinceton, and William.

Lawrence leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife, Patricia; three sons, Andrew, Lawrence, Jr., and Brian; two daughters, Valerie and Varisha; bonus sons, James and Jason; bonus daughter, Tina; his siblings, Barbara Cottrell, Geraldine Mack, Joyce Moore, Juanita Hill, Russell (Veanise), Anthony (Kim),  Carolyn (Thomas) Lloyd, Michael, and Keishna Griffey; sisters-in-law, Joann and Nenita; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and dear friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
