Laurie Ann Greene, 54, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2021, in the comfort of her beautiful home.

Visitation and funeral service will be held at Walker Chapel Funeral Home located at 7272 Hamilton Avenue Cincinnati, OH 45231 on Saturday, October 16th at 2 pm. Pastor Charles Tierney of Tree of Life Church will be officiating.

Laurie was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Edward & Elaine Burton on July the 12th, 1967. She attended Norwood High School and graduated in 1985. Laurie went on to earn a degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She received awards from the National Honor Society and was on the Dean's List during the nursing program. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. Laurie was also involved with Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of America, having become a Webelos Leader with her husband Brandon. She enjoyed painting, traveling, hiking, fishing, skydiving, good food, and spending time with her family. Being Nana to her grandchildren brought her the most joy. Laurie was one of a kind and brought comfort, wisdom, and happiness to everyone who was lucky enough to know her.

Laurie is survived by her husband Brandon Greene. Sons Derek & Zachary Mayfield and Daughter Natalie Greene. Brother Edward Burton. Mother Elaine Burton. Grandchildren Everett & Wesley. Cousin Shannon Vucic. She is preceded in death by her beautiful son Joshua, father Edward, and cousin Thomas.

Memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital, the ASPCA, and Tree of Life Church.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone who has reached out and provided support in our time of need. Friends and family showing selflessness in times of hardship provide a shining example of who Laurie was as a person. It is clear she touched many people in a positive and everlasting way.
