Latonya Dodds, 52, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on April 27, 2026. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, and best friend whose love and presence touched so many lives.

She is survived by her children, Bryttani and Anthony; her mother, Rebecca; her father, Benard Richardson; her grandmother, Gwendolyn; her sister, Carmalita Benita; her brother, Domennic LaReece; her nieces and nephews; her grandchildren, whom she loved deeply and cherished beyond words; her many great-aunts and great-uncles; and many other family members and loved ones who will miss her dearly.

Latonya was known for her big heart, kind spirit, and bright personality. She had a way of making people feel comfortable and was always someone others could turn to for advice, comfort, or help. Intelligent and eager to learn, she often helped others with schoolwork and academic subjects. She attended Carthage Elementary and the Academy of World Languages, where she learned French, something she was very proud of and enjoyed sharing with others.

She was also known for her cooking, especially her cakes, pies, and oven-baked chicken, and for the love she put into every meal she made. Latonya loved reggae music, having a good time, and bringing laughter and joy wherever she went. She cherished her family deeply and was always present for holidays, celebrations, and the moments that mattered most.

Latonya’s warmth, strength, wisdom, and love will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
