Latieka "Fat'nem' Tayou was born Latieka Harris, age 44, to Leann Harris and Micheal Commodore. She will forever be loved and remembered by her daughters: Janiya Nichols, Brianna White, and Komori Jones. She was a grandmother to Ja'leah Nichols, Promise Short, Breeeilya White, and Ja'Zyhia Nichols.

Latieka leaves behind a huge family that she loved. She loved and admired her aunt Carolyn Commodore and her cousin Kimberly Commodore. When things were tough, those were the ones she called on.  She was loud, but silent in her struggles but always had the smile that would light up a room. In her final hours, her only request was,  to make sure everyone knew she loved them.

Her life shall continue in the hearts of her father Micheal Wayne Commodore (Brenda Commodore) and her siblings Marcus Broadus-Commodore, Brandon Johnson, Jawana Crosby, Mr. & Mrs. Courtney Woodward, and Mr. & Mrs. Micheal Singh-Commodore. Along with several aunties, uncles, cousins, and step siblings.

From God we came and to God we shall return. Rest little sister until we meet again. Forever in our hearts....your family.
