LaTasha Denise Hargrove was born August 16, 1974 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Melvin Hargrove and the late Celeste Hargrove. Latasha blessed the world with her bright spirit and genuine love for others. She attended Woodard High School where she was recognized for her many talents. One particular talent was her unique gift of singing that was truly one of a kind.

She later married Tracey Damonte Barnes Sr. To this union two loving children were born, Tracey Damonte Barnes Jr. and Trayonna Denay Barnes.

LaTasha's gentle smile, warm understanding and cool intelligence brought so much joy to our family. She loved without barriers and made it a goal to take those same principles into the workplace with her every day. She studied at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College where she gained a passion for Information Technology & Computer Science. She served 21 years in IT support in many places such as Vantiv LLC and First Financial bank (Springfield Township location).

She was a special and caring person with the biggest heart. She was beautiful in appearance and spirit. Her hobbies and interests include baking, skating, painting and cosmetology. She especially enjoyed playing with her grand-dog "Tobe". During her illness she always loved talking with friends, family and co-workers who kept in touch.

The Lord called LaTasha home on June 1, 2020 at 2:46pm. We loved her but God loved her best, Amen.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, Tracey D. Barnes Jr.; her beautiful daughter, Trayonna D. Barnes; her father,  Melvin Hargrove; two sisters, Sharmele Moore and Anglea Hargrove; one brother, Melvin Hargrove Jr.; and a host of  nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. She will truly be missed.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Walker- McMILLAN STREET CHAPEL, 1025 E. McMillan Street , Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
