Lamon Jones was born on January 9, 1955 to the late Florice (Ashford) Jones-Shabazz and Lamon G. Jones, Sr. (Rose) in Birmingham, AL. He was preceded in death by brothers Donald E. Jones and Clarence Anderson. At an early age he attended Peace Baptist Church with his mother under the leadership of the late Rev. Hudson. Lamon (Junior) was educated in the Cincinnati Public School System. The attended Withrow High School and received his GED. He was known to be a person who liked to have fun, and his favorite saying was "It's All Good in The Hood." He never met a stranger and loved being around his family & friends. He leaves to morn his loving children: Michael A. Johnson, LaVell G. Hydlebeerg, Lamon G. Hydlebeerg-Jones, , Christian Ballew, Djuan McDaniel, Lanea, Latisha, and Malcolm Jones; Siblings: Jacqueline O'Neal, Ahmad Muhammad, Janice F. Jones, Mechelle Shabazz, Farracon Shabazz, Richard Tolbert; Step Siblings: Mellisa Stalling, Louie, Brent, and Johnny, Anderson; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 18 at Walker Funeral Home, 1025 E.
