Baker, on September 17, 1958, the beautiful Kimberly D. Lang, (KDL), is now on an extended vacation, soaking up peace and joy, in the best place to be, living the heavenly life with Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, as of March 27, 2014. Kimberly, 55, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, remained a hometown girl; but enjoyed the time she traveled with her young family. She very much loved spending time with her grown family, playing with her grands, trying new things, her TV time and especially her reality shows. She graduated from Aiken High School in 1976. She later went back to school while working full time and raising 3 children and in only six years she earned an Associates and Bachelors degree; and the girl achieved her Masters With Honors in HR (which was her passion, and showed her heart for people) from the University of Cincinnati. Kimberly had a unique philanthropist spirit. She touched many people as she was a prayer warrior, a listening ear and a comforting, loving person. She was an anchor to many people in need; whether it was giving, of her time, emotionally, spiritually, or financially. She always gave from her heart, which was a great and beautiful heart. She was wise and taught her family well by her life and examples. She loved the Lord and longed for a deeper, more intimate relationship with the Father. Kimberly married David Lang on January 19, 1985. He affectionately called her Eastman. Their very special connection remained until she left to spent more time with Jesus. She was the most lovingest mom to not only her children and grandbabies but her begotten children and family and was a good, good friend as well. Kimberly was an encouraging and supportive person and you never had to wonder if she loved you, she told you and texted you with messages such as "I love you, that's all!" and you knew! When LaNiece married Seneca and Paul married Talia, they gave her another son and daughter that she loved and cherished as her own. She insisted that they were not 'in-laws', but her very own children, and became a part of her heart. Kimberly had a special relationship with her begotten daughters Fequita and (niece) Dionne whom she was very close with. She loved and cared for them dearly. As well as her begotten sons, James, Dwayne and family and Mark & wife Cia and family and whom she loved dearly. Her heart also extended to their children. That was the Kimberly way!! Kimberly still is because she lives on in her family; her spirit and her heart, the wisdom she gave, and her laughter. She leaves pieces of these things to live on in them. Her loving and doted husband David Lang Sr. and her treasured and very devoted, loving children; LaNiece (LB) & Seneca ('Sen' her son), Paul, (Her baby boy), Talia (Ty, her daughter), Diana (Di the baby and her partner in crime). And, her highly prized possession & adored playmates a.k.a. grandbabies & reasons to get up: A'Jiana (A'Ji-Baji), Bri-Atia (Brae, Skin), Seneca (Bubb-ski), Hailei (Bucket), Trey (Woa-di-Whoa) & Sean (ButtButt). We know; she had the most awesome sense of nicknames! She beat to heaven, both parents Matthew Baker Sr. and Audrey Baker; brother Matt Baker Jr, and sisters, Theresa Freeman (George Freeman) & Constance Baker. Brothers-in law, Mark Lang (Ann Lang), Daniel Lang (Mozella Lang), and a sister-in-law, Mattie Clark (Dave Clark) and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by brothers Stephen Haynes, Maurice Lang, Michael Lang and sister, Marsha Lang and mother-in-law Dorothy Lang. Kimberly was a caring, kind, giving, weird, wonderful person. She was a cutie, a marvel, a mystery and terrible at foreign language but spoke love fluently. She loved you and if you knew her, you loved her too. She made you laugh mostly because she was so spectacularly corny, but you got it and it was awesome! We had a great life together, she was our heart. Her family was and remains very close and will, God willing, in her name. Her presence, warmth, laugh and smile will so deeply be missed by her family and all who truly knew and loved her. Memorial funds established.
