Kenneth Wayne
Talley
March 16, 1957 — June 5, 2026
Kenneth Wayne Talley, affectionately known as “Kenny,” was born on March 16, 1957, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Carolyn and Frank Talley. In 1964, Kenny relocated with his family to Cincinnati, Ohio, where he would spend the majority of his life building lasting friendships and becoming known for his warm heart, infectious humor, and unforgettable personality.
Kenny graduated from Greenhills High School in 1975 and went on to spend many years serving the community as a beloved bartender. Through his work, he met countless people from all walks of life and formed friendships that stretched across the country and around the world. Kenny had a unique gift for making people feel welcome. He truly never met a stranger, and it seemed everyone who crossed his path instantly became a friend.
Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Kenny could make anyone laugh. Whether sharing stories behind the bar, joking with family, or catching up with friends, he brought joy wherever he went. His smile, laughter, and larger-than-life personality will be remembered by all who knew him.
One of Kenny’s greatest passions was playing the lottery. His numbers were his world. Family and friends knew that if they moved, bought a new car, or experienced any major life change, Kenny would want to know immediately—especially if there was a new address or license plate number involved. To him, every number had potential, and he never missed an opportunity to add another lucky combination to his collection.
Kenny was also a devoted animal lover who had a special place in his heart for pets. He possessed a caring spirit and found joy in looking after those he loved. Above all else, he cherished his family. He shared an extraordinary bond with his mother, Carolyn. They were not only mother and son but best friends. Kenny took great pride in caring for her, spending time with her, and making sure she always knew how much she was loved.
Family gatherings, conversations with friends, and creating lasting memories with those closest to him brought Kenny great happiness. He valued relationships above all else and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, loyalty, and love.
Kenny departed this life on June 5, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Though his presence will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Kenny leaves to cherish his memory his devoted mother, Carolyn Talley; aunts Josephine Williams and Alice Clements; his loving sister, Donna Smith (Edward); his sister-in-law, Barbara Talley; and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members in Nashville, Indianapolis, and beyond, along with countless friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Frank Talley; his beloved brother, Michael Leon Talley Sr.; and his special friend, Fred.
The family finds comfort in knowing that Kenny’s laughter, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
